Facility

1. Raise the vehicle using safety equipment.
2. Remove the vehicle tires according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Remove the bolts holding the steering knuckle and chassis.
4. Retire todo el conjunto (amortiguador – espiral – soportes).
5. Using a suitable tool such as a coil compressor and maintaining all safety parameters, compress the coil until it is held securely in the tool and you can release the shock mount bolts.
6. Inspect the condition of the spring, for every 2 shock absorber changes the spring must be changed.
7. Change the dust covers and stops.
8. Using the coil spring compressor, assemble the new KMX shock absorber, coil spring, dust cover and brackets. Always hold the piston by the machined quadrants when tightening (DO NOT hold the piston with spanners in the stroke areas).
9. Mount the assembly on the vehicle and tighten the chassis mounting bolts only when lowering the jack shock absorber.
