Facility

1. Remove the tire according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions and safety protocol.
2. Remove the tie rod ends to release them from the steering knuckle (front wheels only).
3. Carefully remove the jaw pins (check lubrication).
4. Remove and inspect the current pads, hand tighten the caliper pins to keep the caliper closed and not lose any pins while removing or handling other items.
5. Remove the bolts holding the caliper to the steering knuckle and remove the caliper.
6. Remove the brake disc or caliper.
7. Remove the shock absorber mounting bolts.
8. For interference fit stub axles, remove the knuckle and perform the KMX stub axle change using a hydraulic press.
9. Reassemble the components in the order in which you disassembled them, checking for proper tightening of each component.
