DESCRIPTION:

The Ignition coils in vehicles are in charge of transforming the low voltage of the battery into high voltage, in order to supply it to the spark plugs and generate the spark of combustion in the engine, this fulfilling an indispensable role for the correct operation of the engine.
YANDONG manufactures the ignition coils according to the original product specifications, so that the temperature of the coil is controlled, maximizing the duration; accompanied by a wide portfolio of types and applications to meet the different segments of the vehicle fleet at an international level.

Technical and quality characteristics:

Product with original type formulation

We use 2 types of resin that can withstand temperatures of over 150°C, and even for the coldest conditions, up to -39°C is guaranteed. LEXAN resin based on polycarbonate and other engineering products, and STAMAX resin with long fiberglass polypropylene and other polyolefin materials.

Transformation ratio between the primary and secondary windings delivering the calculated power (ideal voltage supply) to the spark plug for generating the spark in the combustion chamber.

Resistance to temperature changes.

Manufactured with materials that allow excellent electrical insulation, which prevents voltage leakage during operation.

Electrical contact terminals resistant to high temperatures that can be generated by high voltages.

Expert Tips:

RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN INSTALLING

It is recommended to keep the coils of our car in good condition, since changes during operation or low-quality components can cause problems such as:

  1. Rough or unstable engine operation (knocking).
  2. Loss of vehicle power.
  3. Increase in the rate of pollutants and emissions.
  4. Fuel increase.
  5. When changing coils, it is recommended to have the vehicle completely turned off and always disconnect the battery.
  6. It is recommended to mark or identify the connection order of the ignition coil cables, in order to make the connections correctly when installing the new coil.
  7. Check the correct connection of the coil cables to prevent them from coming loose later during operation due to vibration.
