Facility
- Remove the tire according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions and safety protocol.
- Remove the tie rod ends to release them from the steering knuckle (front wheels only).
- Remove and inspect the current pads, hand tighten the caliper pins to keep the caliper closed and not lose any pins while removing or handling other items.
- Remove the bolts holding the caliper to the steering knuckle and remove the caliper.
- Remove the current brake disc
- Install the new KMX friction brake disc
- Check lubrication on all hardware
- Reassemble the components in the order in which you disassembled them, checking for proper tightening of each component.
- Request that the brake pedal be depressed several times to bleed the hydraulic drive system.

RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN INSTALLING
- To carry out interventions on the brake system it is necessary to wait until it is completely cold, otherwise it may cause burns due to the temperature increase generated during its operation.
- When replacing brake discs or brake drums it is recommended to replace the brake pads and/or brake shoe band.
- It never hurts to perform preventive maintenance on the system;grease the caliper pins, check the displacement of the pistons and clean the brake system components.
- When the installation is completed, remember to bleed the brake system and check the brake fluid level. Pump the brake system before starting the vehicle.
